(Calgary) Worthy signed with the Stampeders on Aug. 24.

2023

(Montreal) Worthy played 14 games for the Alouettes and led the team with 1,868 all-purpose yards. He had 56 punt returns for 544 yards and one touchdown, 48 kickoff returns for 1,136 yards, four missed-field goal returns for 96 yards and 10 receptions for 92 yards. Worthy had a 77-yard punt-return touchdown in a Week 3 victory at Hamilton.

2022

(Montreal) In his first season with the Alouettes, Worthy was the team’s nominee and the East Division finalist for the CFL’s Most Outstanding Special Teams Player award. He racked up 1,824 return yards including 1,220 and two touchdowns on kickoffs, 547 on punts and 57 on missed field goals. On offence, Worthy added four catches 32 yards and one carry for six yards. He had four kickoff returns of at least 40 yards including an 88-yard touchdown in Week 3 and an 84-yard major in Week 4, both against the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Worthy also had six punt returns that covered at least 30 yards including a season-long of 44. In the playoffs, Worthy dressed for both the Eastern Semi-Final and the Eastern Final and returned seven punts for 102 yards and six kickoffs for 155 yards.

2021

(Toronto) Worthy was in uniform for nine games and accounted for a team-leading 1,464 all-purpose yards. His totals included 203 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 16 catches, two carries for 31 yards, 455 yards on 47 punt returns, 613 yards on 27 kickoff returns and 162 yards on five missed-field goal returns. Worthy’s season high in receiving yards was 85 in Week 8 against Montreal and he had a season-best five catches in Week 10 at Hamilton. Worthy had a pair of punt returns for at least 30 yards including a 37-yarder against Hamilton in Week 15. He twice cracked the 100-yard mark in kickoff returns – in Week 10 at Montreal and in Week 11 against BC. In the East final against the Tiger-Cats, Worthy accounted for 89 all-purpose yards including 11 receiving (on two catches), 20 on punt returns and 58 on kickoff returns.

2020

(Toronto) Worthy was under contract with the Stampeders but the season was cancelled because of the global pandemic.

2019

(Toronto) Worthy played three games for the Argos and saw action both as a returner and a receiver. He had 12 catches for 129 yards and two touchdowns including nine catches for 93 yards and the first major of his CFL career in a Week 19 game at Montreal. Worthy also had seven punt returns for 48 yards and two kickoff returns for 51 yards.

2018

(Toronto) Worthy attended training camp with the Argos and was released on June 3. He re-signed with Toronto on Oct. 10 and finished the season on the practice roster.

2017

(Toronto) Worthy appeared in four games and made one start for the Argos. On special teams, he returned 11 punts for 69 yards and 10 kickoffs for 136 yards. On offence, Worthy contributed one catch for five yards and one carry for three yards.

College

Worthy played 45 games over four seasons (2011-14) at Troy. He scored 14 career touchdowns for the Trojans including 11 receiving, one rushing and two on kickoff returns. Worthy had 137 career catches for 1,767 yards, 34 carries for 176 yards and 81 kickoff returns for 1,919 yards. He was named the first-team all-Sun Belt Conference kick returner following his senior season after returning 27 kickoffs for 704 yards (an average of 26.1 yards) and two scores.

Personal

Worthy played on all three units – offence, defence and special teams – at Griffin (Ga.) high school and helped the Bears amass a 13-1 record during his senior season. He also ran track at Griffin and was a part of the 4×100 relay team that finished second at the state championships.
