(Calgary) Evans started 17 games and had 53 tackles, a team-leading five interceptions, one forced fumble and six knockdowns. He also started the Western Final, recording four tackles and two knockdowns, as well as the Grey Cup, during which he collected one tackle and one knockdown. Evans was named a West Division and CFL all-star.
(Calgary) Evans started 14 games and recorded 42 tackles including one tackle for loss, one special-teams tackle, two interceptions, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and 14 knockdowns as he was named a West and CFL all-star. He started the Western Final and recorded four tackles before registering four tackles and an interception in the Grey Cup. Evans recorded his first career interception on July 29 against BC, a play that set up the game-tying drive to force overtime. He was on the one-game injury list for Games 2-4 and 12.
(Calgary) Evans played in three games (two starts) and he had three tackles. He appeared in both of Calgary’s playoff games — including a start at cornerback against BC in the Western Semi-Final — and made one tackle. Evans began the season on the practice roster and was moved back to the practice roster before Game 7. He was activated again for Game 11 and was placed on the six-game injury list before Game 12.
Evans played four seasons (2010-13) at Nebraska and saw action in 47 games including 33 starts. He accumulated 143 total tackles including 15 tackles for loss. He had five sacks and five interceptions including four picks during his senior season.
