(Calgary) Hicks has played one game and made one start at defensive end. He has one defensive tackle and one sack.

 

2025

(Calgary) In his second season with the Red and White, Hicks played and started all 18 regular-season games at defensive end and was the team’s nominee for the CFL’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player award as well as being a West Division all-star. He had 28 tackles including five tackles for loss, a team-leading 12 sacks, two forced fumbles and six knockdowns. Hicks had a pair of sacks – including one that forced a fumble – and also pressured the quarterback into an international-grounding penalty in a Week 6 victory over Saskatchewan. He had another two sacks in the Week 12 rematch against the Roughriders. In the Labour Day Classic victory over Edmonton, Hicks had three tackles including a tackle for loss, a sack and a knockdown. He had a pair of sacks in Week 18 at BC and again in Week 19 at Hamilton. Hicks started the Western Semi-Final at BC and had three defensive tackles.

 

2024

(Calgary) Hicks played all 18 games including one start at defensive end and was the Stampeders’ nominee for the CFL’s Most Outstanding Rookie award. For the season, he had 14 defensive tackles including two tackles for loss, four sacks, two interceptions, one knockdown and one special-teams stop. In his CFL debut in Week 1 against Hamilton, he recorded his first CFL sack when he brought down Bo Levi Mitchell. Hicks sacked Mitchell twice more in a Week 20 contest in Hamilton. In Week 4, Hicks picked off a pass by Winnipeg’s Zach Collaros for his first CFL interception.
