(Calgary) Alford played 15 games and had 20 catches for 407 yards – an average of 20.4 yards per reception – as well as five touchdowns. He made his professional debut in a Week 2 game at Toronto. In Week 5 against Winnipeg, he combined with quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. for an 11-yard catch-and-run for his first career touchdown reception. In Week 6, Alford made his first career start and played a starring role in a win in Saskatchewan, making six catches for 156 yards and two touchdowns. He followed up that performance with another two-touchdown game, this time in Week 7 at Winnipeg. Alford was also in uniform for the Western Semi-Final.

College

Alford played four seasons (2020-23) at Syracuse. In 42 games including 28 starts with the Orange, Alford made 67 catches for 1,291 yards – an average of 19.3 yards per catch – and seven touchdowns. His most productive season came in 2023 when he had 33 receptions for 610 yards and three scores. Alford played four games at Utah in 2024 and did not record any stats.

Personal

Alford played his final season of high-school football at McArthur High School in Hollywood, Fla., after previously attending École secondaire Dalbé-Viau in Lachine, Que., the same school that produced Stampeders offensive lineman Christy Nkanu.
