2024

(Ottawa) Webb earned East Division and CFL all-star honours after a standout season that included a league-leading two interception-return touchdowns. He was second in the league with eight tackles for loss and tied for third in the CFL with five interceptions. In 18 regular-season games, he also had 68 defensive tackles, one special-teams stop, two sacks, one forced fumble and seven knockdowns. Both of Webb’s pick-sixes came in a Week 14 victory over the visiting Toronto Argonauts including a 96-yard return for a score. He had at least two tackles in every game including a season-high seven stops in Week 11 at Calgary. Webb started the Eastern Semi-Final and made four tackles.

2023

(Ottawa) In his first full season with the Redblacks, Webb played 16 games and made 12 starts. He made 62 tackles including five tackles for loss and was tied for third on the team with three interceptions. Webb also had two special-teams tackles, one sack and four knockdowns. The sack, the first of his professional career, came in Week 7 at Calgary. Webb’s season high in tackles was six and occurred in Week 12 at Edmonton. He had four other games with five tackles. His three interceptions included one in Week 11 against Montreal that he returned for 67 yards. It was the longest interception return of the season by a Redblacks player.

2022

(Saskatchewan/Ottawa) Webb started the season with the Roughriders, playing two games and making one special-teams tackle. He then signed with the Redblacks and appeared in nine contests, all of them starts. Webb made 33 defensive tackles including one tackle for loss with Ottawa and also contributed one special-teams stop, one interception and two knockdowns. Webb’s interception came in Week 14 against Toronto and he had eight tackles including a tackle for loss against Montreal in Week 19.

2021

(Saskatchewan) Webb played 10 regular-season and made five starts for the Roughriders. He amassed 27 defensive tackles, seven special-teams stops, one fumble recovery that he returned 44 yards for a touchdown and one interception. Webb started the season on the practice roster and was activated for a Week 6 game in Winnipeg, recording one defensive tackle and one special-teams stop. In Week 8 against BC, he recovered a fumble and returned it 44 yards for a touchdown and picked up his first career interception in Week 12 at Calgary. Webb twice had six defensive tackles in a game – in Week 13 at Montreal and in Week 15 against Edmonton. In the playoffs, Webb was a starter in both the Western Semi-Final and the Western Final and he accumulated three defensive tackles one special-teams takedown.

2020

(Saskatchewan) Webb was under contract with the Roughriders but the season was cancelled because of the global pandemic.

College

Webb played 41 games and made 26 starts over four seasons (2014-17) at Ohio State. He had 131 career tackles for the Buckeyes as well as six interceptions including two that he returned for a touchdown. Webb’s pick-sixes came against Nebraska in 2016 and against USC in the 2017 Cotton Bowl. As a senior, he established career highs with 61 tackles and five interceptions.

Personal

Webb is a graduate of Cass Technical High School in Detroit. He helped the Technicians win a state title in 2012 as he recorded 42 tackles, seven interceptions and four forced fumbles.
