Pro path
Braverman was selected in the seventh round (230th overall) by the Chicago Bears in the 2016 National Football League draft. He played three games for the Bears in 2016. He was released by Chicago on Sept. 2, 2017, and joined the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice roster on Jan. 2, 2018. Braverman joined the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad on Dec. 4, 2018, and was released on Dec. 20, 2018. He then spent time with the San Antonio Commanders in the Alliance of American Football.

College
Braverman played 37 games over three seasons (2012, 2014-15) at Western Michigan. After making 18 catches for 135 yards as a freshman for the Broncos, he was a medical redshirt in 2013. He returned to the field in 2014 and over two seasons he recorded 195 receptions for 2,374 yards and 19 touchdowns. Braverman was named third-team all-Mid-Athletic Conference in 2014 and first-team all-MAC in 2015 after a season in which he accumulated 109 catches for 1,377 yards and 13 majors.

Personal
Braverman played high-school football at Nova Southeastern University School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and twice earned all-county honours. His father Jamie was a safety for Lehigh University’s Division II national championship team in 1977.
