2025

(Toronto) Brissett played and started all 18 games for the Argonauts and established new career single-season highs with 65 receptions and a team-leading 907 receiving yards. He had three receiving touchdowns and also had one carry for 12 yards. Brissett had the first 100-yard receiving game of his career when he had four catches for 118 yards in a Week 12 contest against BC. His season high in receptions was eight, which he achieved against Hamilton in Week 18.

2024

(Toronto) Brissett played six regular-season games for the Double Blue and had 14 catches for 171 yards and three touchdowns. He also had one carry for 13 yards. After missing 12 contests with a knee injury, Brissett returned to the field in Week 17 and had nine catches for 99 yards and two touchdowns in the final four games of the regular season. Brissett was in the lineup for all three of Toronto’s post-season contests. He had one catch for five yards in the Eastern Semi-Final and was named the Most Outstanding Canadian of the Boatmen’s Grey Cup game victory over Winnipeg after making three receptions for 45 yards and one touchdown.

2023

(Toronto) Brissett was in uniform for all 18 or the Argos’ regular-season games and he made 13 starts. He had 38 catches for 594 yards and five touchdowns as well as five kickoff returns for 109 yards and 11 special-teams tackles. Brissett’s most productive game of the season came in Week 16 against Hamilton as he made six catches for 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also had six receptions in Week at Saskatchewan. Brissett had four catches for 34 yards against Montreal in the Eastern Final.

2022

(Toronto) Brissett played 15 regular-season games for the Argonauts including one start. He had 10 catches for 102 yards and one touchdown. Brissett also had four punt returns for 28 yards and three kickoff returns for 44 yards as well as six special-teams tackles. He started the Argos’ Week 21 contest against Montreal and delivered six receptions for 69 yards and the first receiving touchdown of his professional career. Brissett was also in uniform for the Eastern final and the Grey Cup game.

2021

(Toronto) Brissett dressed for all 14 regular-season games during his rookie season and had nine catches for 131 yards as well as one special-teams tackle. He scored the first touchdown of his CFL career in Week 10 against Ottawa when he returned a blocked punt 23 yards for a major.

College

Brissett played his senior season (2019) at Virginia. In 12 games including two starts for the Cavaliers, he had two catches for 18 yards. Brissett transferred to Virginia after a four-year stint (2015-18) at the University of Richmond. In 29 games for the Spiders, he had 85 catches for 1,276 yards and nine touchdowns, 32 kickoff returns for 764 yards and one score and 10 kickoff returns for 150 yards and a touchdown. Brissett was first-team all-Colonial Athletic Association in 2017 after making 63 catches for 896 yards and seven touchdowns.

Personal

Prior to enrolling at Richmond, Brissett attended Lake Forest (Ill.) Academy. He was the Caxys’ team MVP as a senior and was named the conference player of the year after making 43 receptions for 862 yards and eight touchdowns. Brissett’s younger brother Oshae is a basketball player who has played for Toronto, Indiana, Boston and Philadelphia in the National Basketball Association.
