College

Kelly-Martin spent five years (2017-21) at Iowa which included a redshirt season in 2019. In 44 games during his Hawkeyes career, he ran 181 times for 804 yards and six touchdowns, caught 25 passes for 199 yards and one score and added 23 kickoff returns for 525 yards. In 2017, Kelly-Martin became the first true freshman for Iowa in seven years to rush for two touchdowns in the same game. His senior season saw him record 45 carries for 202 yards and one touchdown.

Personal

Kelly-Martin started his high school years at Nazareth Academy (La Grange Park, Ill.) before transferring to Oswego East Hill School (Oswego, Ill.) As a senior, he registered 159 carries for 1,360 yards and 22 touchdowns to go along with 19 receptions for 287 yards and four scores. He was named first-team all-conference and all-state in addition to being the conference’s offensive MVP. Kelly-Martin won two state titles in high school as his teams posted a combined record of 43-7. In addition to serving as a captain on the football team, he lettered in track, wrestling and volleyball. Kelly-Martin majored in sport and recreation management at Iowa and was an academic all-American.
