Davis signed as an undrafted free agent with the National Football League’s Houston Texans on Apr. 27, 2013. He spent time on the practice roster of the New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs and Washington Redskins.
(Calgary) Davis played 10 games including nine starts and had 32 tackles including one tackle for loss, nine sacks, 21 quarterback pressures, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and a punt block. He was named a CFL player of the week after recording three sacks, a forced fumble and fumble recovery in a Week 14 game against Saskatchewan. Davis was moved to the six-game injured list before Week 2. He was on the one-game injury list for Game 17. Davis started both post-season games and had three tackles and two quarterback pressures in the Western Final and one tackle and one QB pressure in the Grey Cup.
(Calgary) Davis played all 18 games (10 starts) and had 32 tackles including five tackles for loss and seven sacks. He also had three special-teams tackles, an interception, three forced fumbles, two knockdowns and a fumble recovery which he took 14 yards for his first CFL touchdown. Davis had two tackles, one special-teams tackle and a tackle for a loss of six yards in the Western Final and a sack in the Grey Cup.

Davis played four seasons (2009-12) at SMU and was named first-team all-Conference USA at linebacker on two occasions and second-team all-conference once. During his career with the Mustangs, he had 301 total tackles, including 41 tackles for loss, 20.5 sacks, four interceptions, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
Davis was district defensive co-MVP at Crockett High School.
