(Calgary) Janvier-Messier suffered an Achilles injury in training camp and spent the season on the six-game injury list.

College           

Janvier-Messier played three seasons (2021-23) at York, earning Ontario University Athletics all-rookie honours in his first year and second-team all-OUA honours in 2022. He missed most of the 2023 campaign with an elbow injury, but still managed to collect two sacks in two games before being sidelined. In 15 career games with the Lions, Janvier-Messier amassed 47 tackles including 12.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks and four forced fumbles.

Janvier-Messier played at Champlain College Lennoxville prior to attending York and helped the Cougars win the Bol D’Or title in 2019.
