2024

(Montreal/BC) Antwi started the season with the Alouettes and played 15 games before being traded to the Lions and appearing in three contests. In the 18 combined games, he carried the ball 19 times for 93 yards, made five catches for 21 yards and recorded 12 special-teams tackles. In Week 20 as a member of the Lions, he faced his former team Montreal and racked up 71 rushing yards on six carries. Antwi was in uniform for BC’s Western Semi-Final contest against Saskatchewan.

2023

(Montreal) Antwi played all 18 regular-season contests for the Alouettes. He carried the ball 39 times for 229 yards and a touchdown, made 11 catches for 75 yards and recorded eight special-teams tackles. He also returned one kickoff for eight yards. In Week 10 against Saskatchewan, Antwi carried the ball seven times for 47 yards and his first career touchdown. Antwi was in uniform for all three of Montreal’s post-season games. He had three carries for 16 yards and a touchdown in the Eastern Final and one catch for three yards in Montreal’s Grey Cup victory over Winnipeg. Antwi also had a pair of special-teams tackles during the post-season.

2022

(Montreal) Antwi played 18 games and made six starts as he led the Alouettes with 600 rushing yards. He also had 30 catches for 200 yards and one special-teams tackle. In the season-opener at Calgary, Antwi replaced injured starter William Stanback and rushed for 98 yards including a 70-yard gallop. In Week 8 at Hamilton, he had five catches for 49 yards. Antwi was in the lineup for both the Eastern Semi-Final and the Eastern Final.

2021

(Montreal) Antwi played all 14 games as a rookie for the Alouettes and contributed 36 carries for 176 yards, six catches for 46 yards, two kickoff returns for 23 yards and five special-teams tackles. He made his CFL debut in Week 1 at Edmonton and had 13 rushing yards and a special-teams tackle. Antwi made his first catch in a game against Hamilton in Week 3.

2020

(Montreal) Antwi was under contract with the Alouettes but the season was cancelled because of the global pandemic.

2019

(Montreal) Antwi attended training camp with the Alouettes and played both pre-season games, carrying the ball six times for 41 yards. He then returned to the University of Calgary for his final season of eligibility.

College

Antwi played 38 games over five years (2015-19) at the University of Calgary and was part of the Dinos’ Vanier Cup-winning team in 2019. He accumulated 2,233 career rushing yards and 18 rushing touchdowns for the Dinos as well as 55 receptions for 479 yards and five scores.

Personal

Born in Israel, Antwi moved to Kumasi, Ghana, at the age of five and came to Canada when he was 12 years old. He played high-school football with the Bishop McNally/Father Lacombe Laserwolves in Calgary and at Dorval-Jean-XXIII in Pierrefonds, Que. He was part of back-to-back city Div. 2 champions with the Laserwolves in 2013 and 2014. Antwi also competed in basketball, volleyball and track was his school’s athlete of the year on three occasions.
