• 2021 – Added to practice squad of Carolina Panthers (NFL) on Nov. 2. He was released on Nov. 9
• 2022 – Selected by the Pittsburgh Maulers in the United States Football League draft on Feb. 22. He appeared in three games for Pittsburgh
• 2022 – Acquired on waivers by the Michigan Panthers (USFL) on May 10. He played 13 games for the Panthers over the 2022 and 2023 seasons. In 16 USFL contests with two teams, Love completed 214 of 368 passes for 2,347 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also had 34 carries for 81 yards
• 2024 – Signed by the Memphis Showboats of the United Football League. He played five games and made one start, completing 38 of 55 passes for 313 yards and two touchdowns and carrying the ball seven times for 10 yards and one touchdown

2025

(Calgary) Love dressed for six regular-season games. He made his CFL debut for a Week 9 game at Ottawa and served as the backup quarterback. Love took snaps at the conclusion of a Week 17 game at Montreal but did not attempt any passes. In Week 20 against Toronto, Love played the fourth quarter and completed five of eight passes for 67 yards including a 50-yard connection with Jalen Philpot. He was also in uniform for the Western Semi-Final.

College           

Love played 41 games and made 26 starts over four seasons (2016-19) at San Jose State. He finished his career with the Spartans as the third-leading passer in school history with 7,206 yards and was fourth with 578 career completions. Love was first-team all-Mountain West and was the conference’s offensive player of the year in 2019 after throwing for 3,923 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also had three rushing majors.

Personal

Love is an alumnus of Long Beach (Calif.) Polytechnic High School. In his senior season with the Jackrabbits, he threw for 3,199 yards and 41 touchdowns and also had six rushing scores. He transferred to Long Beach Poly after playing at Tesoro High School in Las Flores, Calif.
