College           

Shaffer played 50 games over five seasons (2017-21) at Georgia. He made 24 starts in his final two seasons with the Bulldogs and was the left guard for Georgia’s national championship team in 2021. Shaffer was second-team all-Southeastern Conference in 2021.

Personal

Shaffer earned all-state honours in his senior season at Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Ga. He helped the Saints win the Class 3A state championship in 2016. Shaffer earned a degree in sociology at Georgia.
