2025
(Ottawa/Calgary) Mauldin was acquired by the Stampeders in a trade with the Redblacks on Sept. 28 and made his Calgary debut in Week 18 at BC. In addition to one regular-season appearance for the Stampeders, he was also in uniform for the Western Semi-Final. In 14 games for Ottawa prior to the trade, Mauldin had 26 tackles including two tackles for loss, two sacks and three knockdowns. Mauldin had a pair of five-tackle games with the Redblacks – in Week 7 against Hamilton and in Week 14 against BC.
2024
(Ottawa) Mauldin started all 18 regular-season games for the Redblacks and shared the team lead with eight sacks. He also had a career-high 52 tackles including five tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Mauldin had a season-best seven tackles in Week 17 at Saskatchewan. He started the Eastern Semi-Final at Toronto and produced three defensive tackles, one special-teams tackle, one sack and one forced fumble.
2023
(Ottawa) Mauldin played and started 17 games for the Redblacks, accumulating 29 tackles including four tackles for loss, five sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. He had a season-high four tackles as well as a sack in the season-opener against Montreal and a sack and a forced fumble against Saskatchewan in Week 16.
2022
(Ottawa) In his first season with Ottawa, Mauldin was voted the CFL’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player after recording a league-leading 17 sacks. He played and started all 18 games for the Redblacks and in addition to the 17 sacks he registered 43 tackles including five tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and three knockdowns. Mauldin had a three-sack game in Week 17 at BC and four other contests in which he had two sacks. He was not only Ottawa’s nominee for Most Outstanding Defensive Player – which he went on to win at the league level – but also for Most Outstanding Player.
2021
(Hamilton) Mauldin appeared in six games for the Ticats and recorded six defensive tackles including one tackle for loss, five special-teams stops, one sack and one forced fumble. He was also in uniform for the Eastern Semi-Final against Montreal. After playing the season-opener, Mauldin spent eight games on the injury list before returning to the field for Hamilton’s five final regular-season contests including a five-tackle performance with one sack in Week 13 at Edmonton.
2020
(Hamilton) Mauldin was under contract with the Tiger-Cats but the season was cancelled because of the global pandemic.
2019
(Hamilton) Mauldin appeared in 11 games for the Tiger-Cats including one start. He recorded seven defensive tackles, seven special-teams tackles, three sacks and one fumble recovery. Mauldin made his CFL debut in Hamilton’s season-opener against Saskatchewan and recorded a pair of special-teams tackles. His first two defensive tackles and first sacks came in a Week 17 home game against Edmonton. Mauldin had one tackle and one forced fumble in the Eastern Final and three tackles in the Grey Cup game.

College
Mauldin played 47 games over four years (2011-14) at the University of Louisville, seeing action as both a defensive lineman and a linebacker. He was second-team all-American Athletic Conference as a junior in 2023 and first-team all-Atlantic Coast Conference as a senior in 2024. During his time with the Cardinals, he accumulated 120 tackles including 34.5 tackles for loss, 20.5 sacks and six forced fumbles.
Personal
Mauldin was an all-state player for Maynard H. Jackson High School in Atlanta. He earned a degree in communication and media studies at Louisville and in 2019 he started a fitness and training business.
