(Calgary) After starting the season on the Stampeders’ practice roster, Nichols played six games, with four starts at right tackle and two at left tackle. He was activated and made his CFL debut in a Week 8 contest against Montreal.

College           

Nichols played his senior season (2023) at Purdue and appeared in 12 games at guard for the Boilermakers. He helped Purdue rank third in the Big Ten conference with an average of 169.1 rushing yards per game. Nichols started his collegiate career with 27 games over four seasons (2018-21) at Charleston Southern before transferring to Nevada-Las Vegas in 2022 and playing 11 games for the Rebels.

Personal

Nichols was an all-conference performer for West Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, N.C., and was named his team’s top offensive lineman as a senior. He also was a member of the Hawks’ teams in baseball and golf.
