Maver’s net punting average of 36.2 yards was best in the CFL and he was among the CFL leaders in punts inside the opponents’ 20-yard line with 24 (just one fewer than the league-leading total) and punts inside the opponents’ 10 with seven. 2011

(Calgary) Maver entered the season as the staring placekicker and played in one game — the home opener against Toronto on July 1. The injury occurred during the game, however, Maver continued to play and recorded one made field goal on four attempts, which would be his season totals. He would spend the remainder of the season out with injury.

2010

(Calgary) In his rookie season, Maver played in every game, including the West final, and won the CFL scoring title with 185 points. That total was good enough to establish a new points record for Stampeders rookies. He converted 37 of 47 field goals, was perfect on 70 extra-point attempts and added four single points. He made his CFL debut in the July 1 season-opener against Toronto and booted five field goals. In his second game, Maver’s 23-yard field goal with 10 seconds remaining gave the Stamps a 23-22 victory over Hamilton. He kicked for 10 or more points in 11 regular-season games including a season high of 18 on July 1. After going 15-for-16 on field goals in his first six games, he hit a mid-season slump but rebounded to split the uprights on 17 of his final 19 field-goal tries. Maver led the CFL with 6,510 yards on 110 kickoffs, an average of 59.2 yards per boot. He was good on both of his field-goal attempts in the West final.
