(Calgary) Jones attended training camp with the Stampeders and participated in one pre-season game. He was placed on the retired list on May 26 and rejoined the team on Sept. 14.

College           

Jones played his final two seasons (2021-22) at East Carolina University. In 24 games for the Pirates, he had 78 catches for 855 yards and nine touchdowns. During the 2022 season, Jones had a streak of four consecutive games with a touchdown catch including a game against South Florida when he had season highs of six receptions and 84 receiving yards. In 2021, he had a two-touchdown game against Temple. Jones started his collegiate career as a linebacker at Oklahoma. In 18 games over two seasons (2018-19) with the Sooners, he had 29 tackles including 2.5 tackles for loss and also had one interception.

Personal

Jones played on both sides of the ball at Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, N.C. Over his final two seasons with the Mavericks, he caught 54 passes for 1,220 yards and 14 touchdowns. Jones earned a degree in communication from the University of Oklahoma.
