Williams is in his second season on the Stampeders coaching staff and his first as the offensive line coach.

In 2025, Williams served as running backs and assistant offensive line coach. Tailback Dedrick Mills won the CFL rushing title and earned division and league all-star honours while guard Zack Williams was a West all-star.

The Phenix City, Ala., native was a guest coach for the Stampeders at 2024 training camp. In 2023, Williams was assistant defensive coordinator at Russell County High School in Seale, Ala.

During his playing career with the Stampeders, Williams played 63 regular-season games from 2016 to 2021 and won a Grey Cup ring in 2018. He was a West Division all-star and Calgary’s nominee for the Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman award in 2017. Williams concluded his career with one season with the Ottawa Redblacks in 2022.

In college, Williams played four seasons at South Alabama and made 28 starts over his final three seasons with the Jaguars. He was second-team all-Sun Belt Conference as a junior in 2013.
