Receiver DaVaris Daniels has been honoured as the Canadian Football League’s top player of the week for his performance in Saturday’s victory over the Toronto Argonauts.
Daniels accumulated eight receptions for 114 yards and two highlight-reel touchdown catches in the Stamps’ 23-7 win over the Argos as Calgary moved into first place in the West Division.
The second-year receiver – the CFL’s Most Outstanding Rookie in 2016 – has 32 catches for 492 yards and four majors so far this season.
This is the fourth time this season a Stamps player has received player-of-the-week recognition from the league.
