Brihm played 41 games over four seasons at Bethune-Cookman University. He earned third-team all-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference honours following his senior season after throwing for 2,210 yards and 12 touchdowns and adding six rushing majors. During his career with the Wildcats, he completed 387 of 647 passes with 31 touchdowns and 11 interceptions and added 736 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns.
