Senior Manager, Business Operations

>> Email Alex Snell

Snell was appointed senior manager of business operations on Sept. 1, 2020.

Snell began his career with the Stampeders in 2005 as a season ticket and sponsorship sales representative. Making an impact early, Snell was able to deliver a high level of customer service with his clients and saw an increase in ticket retention as well as referrals. Known for going above and beyond for his clients, Snell believes creating the best sporting experience for fans is the most important part of working for the Stampeders.

Prior to the start of the 2012 season, Snell took on a leadership role as the manager of the sales department. Under his leadership, the Stampeders became one of the strongest sales teams in the CFL and consistently delivered high numbers of new season ticket holders.

During his time with the Stampeders, Snell has also had key roles in the creation and execution of the Telus Patio, Snapple Outdoor Patio Suites, Quick 6 Stable and, more recently, the North End Zone temporary suite structure for the 107th Grey Cup.

Born and raised in Calgary, Snell attended Western Canada High School and has a BA degree from the University of Lethbridge.

Snell lives in Calgary with his wife Jenifer. They have two young children – Hadley and Jack.
