2024

(Calgary) Thomas played eight games and recorded two defensive tackles and nine special-teams stops. He had back-to-back games – Week 10 in Toronto and Week 11 against Ottawa – with a pair of special-teams tackles. Thomas finished the season on the six-game injury list.

2023

(Calgary) In his rookie campaign, Thomas played 15 regular-season games and finished third on the team with 12 special-teams tackles. He also had one defensive tackle and two knockdowns. Thomas made his CFL debut in the Stamps’ season-opener against BC. After being placed on the practice roster for three games, he was reactivated in Week 6 and played every game the rest of the way including the Western Semi-Final. Thomas had three special-teams tackles in a Week 19 game against Saskatchewan.

Junior 

Thomas was honoured as the outstanding defensive lineman from the Canadian Junior Football League’s B.C. Conference in 2022 after collecting 11.5 sacks in 10 regular-season games for the Okanagan Sun. He also had 19.5 tackles, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one blocked kick. Thomas had seven tackles and two sacks in the Sun’s two conference playoff wins and 2.5 tackles and 1.5 sacks in Okanagan’s 21-19 victory over the Regina Thunder in the Canadian Bowl. In three seasons for the Sun, Thomas accumulated 42 tackles, 18 sacks, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one blocked kick.

Personal

Thomas played basketball and volleyball at Jean Vanier Catholic High School in Richmond Hill, Ont., and is a product of the Scarborough Thunder varsity football program.
