Executive Committee Member

Ruth Peters is a businesswoman and philanthropist based in Calgary. She became an executive committee member for CSEC in 2021.

Peters is the president of Rocky Mountain Ranches, Ltd. and Black Diamond Land & Cattle Co., a full-service horse boarding and training facility located in the Calgary foothills. She also serves as president of Black Diamond Ventures and RP2 Developments.

Peters is a board member of the Peters Family Foundation as well as both the Calgary Stampeders Foundation and Calgary Flames Foundation. She played a key role in the establishment and development of the award-winning Calgary community of Elbow Valley and was a founding contributor to the Haskayne Capital Expansion Project at the University of Calgary’s business school.

Peters has two children – a son, Brennan, and a daughter, Rory.
