Pro path

Tchangam signed with the BC Lions on Nov. 25, 2022, and he attended the club’s 2023 training camp. He was released by BC on June 4, 2023. Tchangam signed as a free agent with the National Football League’s Seattle Seahawks on Aug. 15, 2021. He spent a week on Seattle’s practice roster during the 2021 season and re-signed with Seattle on Jan. 18, 2022. The Seahawks waived Tchangam on June 15, 2022.

2023

(BC/Calgary) Tchangam attended training camp with the Lions. He saw action in two pre-season games for BC and recorded three defensive tackles. Tchangam signed with the Stampeders after Week 7 and was placed on the practice roster. He was activated for a Week 14 game in Edmonton and recorded one tackle. Tchangam was also in uniform against Montreal in Week 16 and was then placed on the six-game injury list, where he finished the season.

College           

Tchangam played 21 games over two seasons (2018-19) at Colorado. As a senior for the Buffaloes, he played 12 games and made five starts, amassing 20 tackles including three tackles for loss, three sacks, one forced fumble and one pass defended. In 2018, Tchangam played nine games and made four tackles including one tackle for loss and added one sack. Prior to enrolling at Colorado, Tchangam attended played two seasons at De Anza College in Cupertino, Calif. In 15 games for the Dons, he registered 89 tackles and 16 sacks.

Personal

Tchangam is an alumnus of Chattahoochee High School in Johns Creek, Ga., but he did not start playing football until he went to college. Tchangam was born in Cameroon and moved to the United States with his family when he was in middle school.
