Wideman played his final two seasons (2021-22) at Jackson State. In 17 games for the Tigers, he had 37 receptions for 589 yards and 13 touchdowns. In 2021, he shared the Southwestern Athletic Conference lead with 12 touchdown catches. Wideman transferred to Jackson State after one season at Tennessee. In six games for the Volunteers, he had one catch for 24 yards.

Personal

As a senior at Venice (Fla.) High School, Wideman had 65 catches for 1,064 yards and 13 touchdowns as he helped his team reach the state semifinals. He also played basketball and competed in track and field in high school.
