The Stampeders (8-6) are trying to strengthen their playoff position in the very competitive West Division while the Blue Bombers (4-10) are fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive in the East.

The Stamps are coming off a 27-22 loss to the BC Lions at Vancouver’s BC Place while the Blue Bombers claimed a 27-22 victory in Montreal on Thanksgiving Monday.

The Stamps faced the Bombers in Week 12 at McMahon Stadium, with Calgary claiming a 44-3 victory. This is scheduled to be the Red and White’s last visit to Winnipeg/Canad Inns Stadium as the Bombers are scheduled to move into a new facility in 2013. Calgary is 29-50 all time at the facility with a significant number of the losses coming in the 1970s and 1980s. Since 1993, Calgary is 11-8 in Winnipeg.

Last week, Nik Lewis surpassed the 1,000-yard mark in receiving for the season. It was the ninth time in his nine-year career Lewis has reached 1,000 yards. Only ex-Stamp Terry Vaughn (11) and Milt Stegall (10) have more 1,000-yard seasons and only Vaughn (11) has more consecutive seasons with 1,000 receiving yards
