Calgary Stampeders vs Saskatchewan Roughriders

The Calgary Stampeders return home to take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday. Kickoff at McMahon Stadium is 7 p.m.
It’s the Stamps’ first home game since a 43-39 victory over the Ottawa RedBlacks on June 29. Calgary has been on the road the past two weeks, recording a 29-10 win in Winnipeg before suffering a 30-23 loss in Montreal.
Calgary is 2-1-1 this season while Saskatchewan, which was on a bye last week, is 1-2.
The Stamps are 9-0-1 in their 10 latest regular-season home dates with the Roughriders with the most recent Saskatchewan win at McMahon coming on Aug. 1, 2009.
Purolator Tackle Hunger
The Stampeders are once again pleased to team up with Purolator Inc. to play host to the annual Purolator Tackle Hunger food drive in support of the Calgary Food Bank.
Fans can take part by bringing non-perishable food items or making cash donations to Purolator volunteers stationed at the stadium gates. All proceeds from the food drive will support the Calgary Food Bank.
Prior to Saturday’s game, fans will have the opportunity to pose for a photo with the Grey Cup. Fans making a donation on game day will be entered into a draw for a chance to win a signed Charleston Hughes jersey.
In 2016, Stamps fans donated 74,485 pounds of food for the Calgary portion of the Tackle Hunger program. Since 2003, fans have donated a total of 982,858 lbs. of food.

Fan Zone opens at 4:30 p.m.
The action begins early as the Fan Zone will be in operation in the east parking lot across from the Ticket Office.
The Fan Zone features food trucks, a DJ, player autographs and partner activations. In addition to the opportunity to pose for a photo with the Grey Cup in return for contributing to the Purolator Tackle Hunger food drive, the Kubota Canadian Football Hall of Fame Road Show Tour features an array of Stampeders exhibits.
Courtesy of Reliance Home Comfort, there’ll also be an opportunity to get autographs from Stamps great Tom Forzani.
Halftime
It’s Rock and Red night at McMahon and hair metal cover band Broken Toyz will perform both before kickoff and at halftime!
