Greene And Johnson Added To O-line

The Calgary Stampeders have signed international offensive linemen Darrell Greene and Leon Johnson.

Here is more information on the newcomers, who will report for rookie camp next week at McMahon Stadium:

Greene signed with the National Football League’s Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2016 and attended training camps with the Eagles in 2016, 2017 and 2018. He signed with the Alliance of American Football’s San Diego Fleet on October of 2018. Greene played 35 games over four seasons at San Diego State. He started seven games at right guard during his senior season and helped the Aztecs accumulate 3,266 rushing yards, the second-highest total in school history. He made a total of 25 starts during his sophomore and junior seasons.

Johnson signed with the NFL’s Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He was released at the conclusion of training camp. Johnson then signed with the Salt Lake Stallions of the Alliance of American Football. Prior to turning pro, Johnson played four seasons at Temple. He made 10 starts at left tackle during his senior season including the season-opening contest against Notre Dame during which he served as one of the team captains. Johnson started 14 games at right tackle during his junior season.
