The Calgary Stampeders have released American linebacker Nate Holley in order to allow him to pursue opportunities in the National Football League.
Holley was the Canadian Football League’s Most Outstanding Rookie in 2019 as he played all 18 regular-season games and ranked third on the club with 78 defensive tackles. He also had one sack, one fumble recovery, one interception and three knockdowns and led the team with 22 special-teams tackles.
