7 Things – Stamps @ Ticats

1. Us: (4-10)

The Stamps fell to the Alouettes at home last time out. They need a win this week against Hamilton to get within a game of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, who they play on Oct. 13, for third in the west.

2. Them: Hamilton Tiger-Cats (6-8)

The Tiger-Cats were pushed around by the powerhouse Toronto Argonauts last weekend, falling 29-14. They are in a battle for second in the east with Montreal and will be hungry for a win at home.

3. Us Vs Them:

This is the one and only meeting between the Tiger-Cats and Stampeders this season. The last time they played was Oct. 14, 2022 in Calgary, a game Hamilton won 35-32.

The last time the two clubs met in Hamilton, the Red and White pulled away with a thrilling 33-30 comeback win in OT.

4. National Day for Truth And Reconciliation

The Stamps will wear orange jerseys during the pre-game warmup and a specially designed logo on their helmets in Hamilton to honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Designed by Jacob Alexis, Richard Running Rabbit and Siksika Health Services CEO Dr. Tyler White, the basic concept for the special logo to be worn on the Stampeders’ helmets emulates the Contemporary Plains Style Traditional Art.
