One step closer.
The Stampeders put together their most complete performance of the season taking down the BC Lions 41-16 on Friday night in Vancouver.
Calgary is now 6-11 and with a Saskatchewan loss to Toronto tomorrow, would fill the third-and-final playoff spot in the CFL West.
STAT PACK
QB Jake Maier – 10-for-21 for 123-yards and two touchdowns

After the two sides traded punts to start the game, Ka’Deem Carey got things going for the Stamps rushing the ball three times to get into Lions territory. That drive got down to the BC 14-yardline before Rene Paredes came out and put a field-goal on the board to make it 3-0.
Kobe Williams picked off BC’s Vernon Adams Jr bringing the ball back to the Lions 20-yardline late in the first-quarter. That led to a Luther Hakunavanhu touchdown to make the score 10-0 on the last play of the quarter.

The Stamps thought they had gotten off the field midway through the second-quarter but a pass interference review negated that. The Lions got down to the two-yardline before Cam Judge forced and recovered a fumble getting the ball back for Calgary.
