The Stamps wrap up the regular-season portion of their 2016 home schedule on Friday when they face the Toronto Argonauts.
Please note the altered time for kickoff — 7 p.m. MDT.
It’s the Purolator Tackle Hunger game to benefit the Calgary Food Bank and fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items. It’s also the Jerseys Off Our Backs game, presented by Safeway, with randomly chosen fans receiving game-worn Stamps jerseys on the field following the game.
The Stamps are looking to complete a perfect regular season at home as they bring an 8-0 record at McMahon into Friday’s contest. Only six teams in CFL history have won all nine regular-season home games including the 1993 and 1994 editions of the Stamps.
Calgary is 14-1-1 thanks to a 13-game winning streak and a 15-game unbeaten streak. The Stamps have locked up first place in the West Division.
The Argos are 5-11 and have lost five in a row including a 48-20 setback against the Stamps on Oct. 11 at Toronto’s BMO Field.
The Boatmen are 3-4 on the road this season and 2-6 against West Division opponents. Calgary is 5-0-1 against the East.
