The Outriders’ busy weekend continued as they attended the 2014 Walmart Walk for Miracles on Sunday morning. Hundreds of walkers, runners and four-legged companions crowded Pumphouse Park for the 5km walk in support of the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
Dana, Raylene, Kaylea, Willow, and Kendra helped lead a Zumba lesson to warm up the participants before they took to the trails. Once everyone was good and warmed up, the walk began with Champion Child Cody cutting the ribbon across the starting line.
The Outriders helped lead a second Zumba session after the walk was finished. This time, the girls danced their way through several songs as members of the crowd joined in once again.
The event was complete with a barbeque, bouncy castle, live DJs, face paint and beach volleyball. The proceeds from this event go directly to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation.
