The day before every Stampeders home game, the Outriders are pleased to join up with members of the Calgary Stampeders and make a special visit to the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
On June 27, Laura and Demi spent part of the afternoon visiting patients at the Alberta Children’s Hospital as the 2014 Every Yard Counts program was officially launched. They cheered on participants at many of the game stations including Snakes and Ladders, Quarterback Toss and the popular Fish Launch.
There was also a photo station where people could have their picture taken with Laura, Demi and even Ralph the Dog. The always fun event was again an overwhelming success. The Outriders will continue to make visits prior to all Stampeders home games and hope to bring smiles to many more faces.
