Hey Stamps fans!
Wednesday, I was joined by my Outriders teammates Taylor and Drew at the Canadian Blood Services office in downtown Calgary to donate blood!
We were all brand new donors and first-time jitters were running high, but the amazing staff of nurses calmed any fears I had and walked us through the process. It felt great to get involved in a worthy cause with players Dan Federkeil and Jeff Fuller and I enjoyed mingling with the other donors.
It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon and I left feeling inspired by the many stories the staff had to share on how just one donation can save a life. I am proud to have participated in this event and look forward to returning in the future to donate again.
