Mace’s turkey drive is back

Calgary Stampeders defensive line coach Corey Mace is leading his third annual turkey and ham drive to help families in need.

“My belief has always been that no Christmas is complete without a turkey or ham dinner,” said Mace. “This season is all about families sharing good times and good food but unfortunately, some don’t have the fortune of having a turkey dinner. Fans have been very generous during the first two years of the program and I know they’ll come though again.”

Anyone wishing to contribute a turkey or ham can make a donation at the Stampeders Administration Office located on the southwest corner of McMahon Stadium. Donations can be made on Thursday, Dec. 10 and Friday, Dec. 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On Sunday, Mace will be appearing at the West Springs Centre location of Calgary Co-op (100-917 85th St. SW) from 4 to 6 p.m. to sign autographs and accept turkey and ham donations.

On Monday, Dec. 14, Mace will personally be delivering the donated items to the Airdrie Food Bank and CUPS.
