On my interception, I forgot the call and I didn’t really have a good rush, so I thought to get my hands up. The moment I felt it hit my fingertips, I just looked up and it dropped right into my hands. I was looking to run with it but Alex Singleton was on the floor behind me and I tripped.

Any time I can get my hands on the ball, it’s fun.

That’s the biggest thing for us – protecting the home turf, especially with the amazing fans we have. We have their energy and we try to keep them in the game because they really do help us win. There’s a few times on defence where I know the offence can’t hear the calls because I can’t hear anything. All you can hear is the crowd, so it definitely helps out.

I thought the team did great. I had a pretty good performance, but the defensive backs did their thing. I think all of the credit goes to them, they’re playing great ball right now.

It feels good to shut them down offensively. We felt like we had a great game plan and the players and everyone did well executing the plan. The coaches did a great job game planning for us and the defensive backs are playing lights out. That’s a talented receiving core over there, so our defensive backs are holding it down for us.

William Powell is a good back, he’s a real patient runner so it makes it difficult. You have to be real disciplined to play against him. We knew it was going to be a tough battle with what they can do, so I’m just glad we were able to make the plays when it counted.

I think being able to get pressure and hit the quarterback was a big thing for us, just because of the work that we put up during the week. We do such intricate game planning and scouting, so it’s big to be able to pick up some sacks as a defensive line on game day.
