When did you start playing football?

I started when I was seven years old. I did it because my cousins and everybody I knew was playing football. I actually signed up for soccer first, and then I saw they were signing up for football, too, so I wanted to do both, but my mom said I had to pick one. Since all my cousins and friends were playing football I went with that.

What is your favourite thing about the game of football?

My favourite part is the game, everything that goes into it. I like winning, I like hitting other people, I like being competitive, I like going against people and scoring touchdowns. I like the whole team comradery, too. It’s a big brotherhood, you’re all grinding together, and you’re all working towards a common goal.

What is your favourite drill and why?

Ladders, and bag drills. In my position playing punt return and running back I have to have quick feet and change direction.

Who has been you biggest football mentor?

My biggest mentors would be my two cousins, Jeremy and Jyles Tucker. I wouldn’t have played football if it wasn’t for them. My cousin Jyles player fort the Los Angeles Chargers for a little while, and Jeremy led the whole state of New Jersey in rushing, so I got to look up to them.

What’s the funniest thing you’ve seen on a football field?

When a guy knows what he’s doing but he still messes up the whole play. It’s funny, because it’s one of those ‘what are you doing?!’ things – that stuff is the funniest ever, when they’re trying and they completely mess it up. Watching it on film the next day is hilarious.

If you could have been there for one event in history, what would it be?

I would have liked to be a part of winning a Superbowl, being a part of it and playing in it. Winning the Grey Cup was like second to none for me, but I could only imagine winning a Superbowl back at home in the United States.

If you could have lunch with any three people – dead or alive – who would you pick?

My grandfather, I never got to meet him. I’d love for him to be there, we kind of look alike, I’d like to share a meal with him. I would love to say celebrities but I’d rather invite all my family that has passed away, because I hear so many stories about them, I would love to meet them, learn from them and just hear from them. Walter Payton because he’s someone I really look up to, I try to model some things after him. He was one of the greatest and he ran really hard, I’d love to pick his brain.

If you won $10 million, what would be your first purchase?

I’d buy my mom whatever she wants. She’s done everything for me, so she can get whatever she wants. After that I’d make sure my sister and brother are good, make sure my uncle and cousins are good, and then take care of me last. Maybe I’d buy myself a house, or a car.
