When did you start playing football?

I started when I was ten, my parents wanted to get me out of the house and I was a pretty big guy. I first started playing with the Calgary Cowboys organization.

What is your favourite thing about the game of football?

All the guys in the locker room, for sure. Being around a lot of likeminded people and working together is a big plus for me.

What is your favourite drill and why?

I like inside run, it’s pretty fun for me. I like being in there battling.

Who has been you biggest football mentor?

I’ve been very fortunate to have a lot of coaches that have been great mentors. But the one I remember most is Dimitri Tsoumpas when he coached me at U of C. He was a guy that left a big imprint on the way I play.

What’s the funniest thing you’ve seen on a football field?

In college a guy we were playing with ran out onto the field and he wearing knee braces and they clipped and he fell flat on his face.

If you could have been there for one event in history, what would it be?

I was at the 2018 Grey Cup last year, so I’d do that again.

If you could have lunch with any three people – dead or alive – who would you pick?

Joe Rogan, Elon Musk and Neil deGrasse Tyson

If you won $10 million, what would be your first purchase?

I’d pay off my home.
