In the popular Jerseys Off Our Backs event, 45 randomly selected fans will be taking home a jersey worn by a Stamps player this season. The lucky winners will get the opportunity to have the Stamps player sign their game-worn jersey.

Last week’s victory was the 699th in Stamps history during the regular season. With one more win, the Stamps would become the first team in Canadian football to amass 700 victories, using the creation of the Interprovincial Rugby Football Union (the forerunner to the CFL’s current East Division) in 1907 and the Western Interprovincial Football Union (precursor of the modern-day West Division) in 1936 as CFL-recognized starting points.

Thanks to our Director of Communications Jean Lefebvre for handing off these facts!

6. Players to Watch

Stamps: DB Kobe Williams: Kobe is heading into the final week of the regular season on a heater. He had two tackles, an interception, and a pass breakup last week against the Lions. He has 43 tackles, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and eight pass breakups this season.

Bombers: QB Dru Brown: Brown should get a large chunk, if not all, of the playing time this week. He started in Week 11 against the Stamps in Calgary and guided the Bombers to the 19-18 win.

7. Quotable:

“Let’s play well tomorrow regardless of who is out there for either side.” Quarterback Jake Maier shares his thoughts on the mindset heading into tomorrow night’s tilt with the Blue and Gold.
