Hi Stamps Fans! 

It’s Ashlee and Dana here! We had the privilege to participate in the Hike for Hospice media launch today at the Sage Centre! This event is the kickoff to months of fundraising and promotion for the 10th Annual Hike for Hospice. Hospice Calgary is hosting this event on Sunday, May 3. 

We loved having the opportunity to raise awareness for Hospice Calgary’s Hike for Hospice. It is such a humbling experience to hear how Hospice Calgary has touched the lives of families across the city and it’s so heartwarming to see how much of an impact volunteers can have.

We had a wonderful time laughing and listening with Rob Cote and Jon Cornish, as families shared their stories. Hospice Calgary runs off of support from donations and on May 3 Canadians accross the country will be hiking to support their network of hospice care. 

The Outriders have been participating in the Hike for Hospice for years and it allows us the opportunity to support the community of people involved in hospice care, as well as enjoying a wonderful 5K walk. Rain or shine — and sometimes even snow! — the turnout at this event has always been wonderful and is continually growing every year. It is absolutely inspiring to see so many citizens with different stories and experiences come together through their shared connection with such a great organization. The Outriders are extremely proud to return to the hike each year and be part of an event as fun as it is touching and rewarding!
