Wall Of Fame: Titus Honoured By Cfl Again

Calgary Stampeders defensive back Titus Wall has been named one of the Canadian Football League’s top performers for Week 9 as a result of his play during a 17-3 win over the Ottawa Redblacks.

It’s the second top-performer honour this season for the rookie, who was previously recognized in Week 2.

Wall’s latest award comes after he scored the game’s only touchdown as the Stamps improved their season record to 5-2. Wall returned an interception 46 yards for a score with less than three minutes to play in the second quarter. It was Wall’s second touchdown of the season as he also scored on a fumble recovery in Hamilton in Week 2.

Wall added a second interception later in the Ottawa game and also had five defensive tackles and a special-teams stop.

The Missouri State product is the only player in the league to score two defensive touchdowns so far this season and he shares the CFL lead with three interceptions.

This marks the fifth time this season a Stamps player has been recognized as a CFL top performer.
