Arthur Joins For Camp

Jabari Arthur will join the Calgary Stampeders coaching staff for a four-week period during training camp as part of the Canadian Football League’s Diversity in Football Program.

Arthur is a familiar face at McMahon Stadium as he currently serves as offensive coordinator for the University of Calgary Dinos and was a two-time Grey Cup champion as receiver for the Stampeders from 2008-15.

“Jabari was an intelligent player and I’m not surprised that he has made a smooth transition into coaching,” said Stampeders general manager and head coach Dave Dickenson. “With his enthusiasm and his knowledge of the game, Jabari will be a welcome addition at training camp.”

“I’m looking forward to another great learning opportunity,” said Arthur. “It was the Stampeders who first brought me to Calgary at the start of my playing career and they also gave me my first coaching opportunity as a guest coach at 2017 training camp. Now I’m coming back as Dinos offensive coordinator and it’s an opportunity to continue learning from that perspective.”

A Montreal product and University of Akron alum, Arthur has spent a total of five years on the Dinos staff having served as receivers coach for four years before being promoted to offensive coordinator in 2022. Arthur served as a guest coach at Stampeders training camp in 2017.
